Peer Review Policy

"Management Science Research Archives" (MSRA) adheres to a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and significance of published research. This policy outlines the key principles and procedures governing our peer review system.

Objectives:

  • Maintain high academic standards for published research in the field of management science.
  • Provide authors with constructive feedback to improve their work.
  • Ensure fairness and transparency throughout the review process.

Types of Review:

MSRA primarily utilizes double-blind peer review, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. In exceptional cases, single-blind review or open review might be employed with author and reviewer consent.

Reviewer Selection:

Reviewers are chosen based on their expertise in the specific research area addressed by the manuscript. MSRA maintains a database of qualified reviewers and actively seeks new reviewers with diverse perspectives.

Review Process:

  1. Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial assessment of submitted manuscripts for relevance, scope, and basic quality. Manuscripts deemed unsuitable for the journal are promptly notified.
  2. Peer Review: Qualified reviewers are invited to provide a written evaluation of the manuscript, addressing aspects like:
    • Originality and contribution to the field.
    • Methodology and research design.
    • Data analysis and interpretation.
    • Quality of writing and presentation.
    • Soundness of conclusions and contributions.
  3. Editorial Decision: The editor-in-chief considers all reviews and makes a final decision on the manuscript:
    • Accept as is
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Request major revisions and resubmission
    • Reject
  4. Author Feedback: Authors receive detailed feedback from reviewers, even for rejected manuscripts.

Confidentiality:

MSRA maintains strict confidentiality of all information related to submitted manuscripts and reviews.

Open Access Policy:

MSRA is an open-access journal, aiming to promote the widest possible dissemination of research findings. However, this commitment does not compromise the rigor or integrity of the peer review process.

Reviewer Ethics:

Reviewers are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines, including avoiding conflicts of interest, providing unbiased and objective feedback, and respecting the confidentiality of the review process.
